Matt Ebersole

Hey, my name is Matt Ebersole I am twenty years old, I live in Carlsbad, CA and love to surf. I am originally from Newport Beach and have been surfing for about six years now. About surfing, it is my life, there is nothing more pure to me than the water. I can’t go a day without it; it is what I live for. I surf about two to four times a day depending on my work schedule. I am determined, dedicated, and striving to achieve my goals. I mainly surf a 5’10 thruster, but love experimenting with other boards, like quads, fish, and long boards. I have competed in two surf competitions and received first and second in both. I consider myself more of a free surfer but enjoy competitions also. As far as traveling goes, I go to Mexico frequently and surf Las Gaviotas all the way to Cabo. I love traveling to explore new waves, and I’m going to Australia and Costa Rica this year. I have been using Shaka Laka products throughout my career and love them all!
